AUDIX F2 Microphone for Tom

The Fusion Series are high performance microphones in a cost effective package. The f2 dynamic instrument microphone is best used for miking instruments requiring mid-bass and mid-high reproduction in live and studio applications. Its hypercardioid pick-up pattern helps to minimize feedback and isolate the instrument from ambient sound coming from the room or other instruments on stage. Low impedance and balanced output on the f2 allow interference-free performance. Compact and durable, the f2 hypercardioid instrument microphone features a cast zinc alloy body, steel mesh grill and gold plated XLR connector.
Frequency Range

Frequency Range: 52 Hz - 15 kHz

The frequency response 52 Hz - 15 kHz provides a wide enough range to capture all the fine musical and sonic details.

Polar Pattern

Polar Pattern: Hypercardioid

A hypercardioid polar pattern offers an even narrower front sensitivity compared to a cardioid, with greater rejection of sounds from the sides and increased pickup from the rear. It is ideal for isolating sound sources in noisy environments but requires careful placement due to its rear sensitivity.

Impedance: 580 Ohm

This value indicates the electrical resistance of the device to an alternating current. Common in microphones and musical equipment, 580 Ohm helps determine compatibility with preamps, mixers, and other audio gear.
