Thanks to traditional production methods using a roller paper machine, it has a natural and harmonious texture, similar to handmade paper. Thanks to this technique, the fibres are distributed evenly and the paper is more stable and resistant to deformation. This dimensional stability allows the paper to stretch evenly after soaking. Arches watercolour paper is subjected to a unique sizing process with natural gelatin during production, giving it unrivalled scratch resistance and ensuring faithful colour reproduction. Arches paper is durable, ISO 9706 compliant and protected against mildew. Its whiteness is natural, obtained without the use of optical brighteners. It thus provides optimum storage possibilities.
