Reel-To-Reel from Antelope Audio is a tape saturation and emulation plugin that recreates the warm, musical characteristics of analogue tape recording. It adds subtle harmonic saturation, gentle compression, and the distinctive frequency response of magnetic tape to digital recordings, giving them the cohesion and depth associated with classic tape machines.

Authentic Tape Character

Reel-To-Reel faithfully models the non-linear behaviour of analogue tape, including its natural soft-clipping saturation and frequency-dependent response. High frequencies are gently rounded while low frequencies gain warmth and weight, resulting in a more musical and cohesive sound.

Subtle Dynamic Control

The inherent compression of tape recording is accurately recreated, providing gentle, transparent dynamics management that smooths out peaks without the obvious artefacts of traditional compressors. This makes it an excellent tool for adding glue to individual tracks or full mixes.
