I have had my first AKG C 411L pickup installed on my violin since May 10, 2002 (I have the receipt). At first, I used it connected to an AKG 29L source. Now I connect it to an AKG wireless set - a PT 40 transmitter and an SR 40 receiver. However, since I had to send my violin in for repair with the pickup still attached, and I have a different violin on loan, I ordered a new C 411L from you and will use it temporarily on the loaned violin. However, I will not stick it on someone else's instrument, because I am not convinced that the supplied product can be removed without leaving traces and damaging the violin's varnish (the two ends of the included tape cannot be separated from each other and only part of one layer can be obtained). I have tested that as a temporary solution, simply sliding the C 411L pickup under the tailpiece tuners is sufficient and it works absolutely reliably. When I get my violin back from repair, this new pickup will serve as a replacement.
